Analisis Unsur Intrinsik dan Nilai Pendidikan Karakter Dalam Novel Akik dan Penghimpun Senja Karya Afifah Afra Serta Pemanfaatannya Sebagai Bahan Ajar di SMA

Abstract

This study aims to determine the intrinsic elements, the values of character education, which are contained in the novel Akik dan Penghimpun Senja by Afifah Afra, and their use as teaching materials in high school. The method used is a qualitative research method, which is descriptive in its implementation. The data collection in this study was carried out using reading and note-taking techniques. The reading and note-taking technique was carried out by this researcher to obtain data in the form of intrinsic elements, values of character education. The intrinsic elements of the novel Akik dan Penghimpun Senja by Afifah Afra, namely theme, characters, plot, style of language, setting, point of view, message. The character education values of the novel Akik dan Penghimpun Senja by Afifah Afra, namely honesty, responsibility, intelligence, health and cleanliness, caring, creativity and mutual cooperation. Analysis of the intrinsic elements and the value of character education in the novel Akik Penghimpun Senja by Afifah Afra and its use as teaching material for high school students is very suitable as an alternative material for learning literature. It is hoped that students can imitate the positive characters in the novel.
