PT X is a company engaged in power generation, telecommunications, finance, maintenance services, and distribution of electric power. As one of the instruments in development, PT X continues to develop its power and quality to be able to provide good services, for the government and the wider community. Until now, PT X has 11 subsidiaries spread throughout Indonesia. This study aims to find out and analyze the influence of career development and motivation on employee performance through job satisfaction at PT X. This research is a conclusive research with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique used a saturated sample with a total of 72 respondents of PT X employees. The statistical analysis used in this study is partial least square (PLS) with the help of smartPLS 4.0 software. The results of the study show that career development has no effect on employee performance. Motivation has no effect on employee performance. Career development does not have a positive and significant influence on job satisfaction. Motivation has a positive and significant influence on job satisfaction. Job satisfaction has a positive and significant influence on employee performance. Job satisfaction does not mediate the influence between career development and employee performance. Job satisfaction mediates the influence between motivation and employee performance.
