This research departs from the background of the need to carry out reforms in increasing teachers' teaching creativity in managing the mathematics learning process on flat-sided geometric material in junior high schools as a response to the increasingly weakening quality of student learning. The aim of the research is that teachers are expected to be able to play the role as learning innovators and increase teacher teaching creativity and support with learning media. This research uses a qualitative approach to obtain analytical data through reflective, participatory and collaborative studies. In order to improve learning outcomes and student activities in learning flat-sided shapes, research was carried out using a jigsaw type cooperative learning approach. This research was conducted in class VIII of Segodorejo-Sumobito Middle School. In terms of research implementation, it can be concluded that the jigsaw type cooperative learning approach can improve learning outcomes for flat-sided shapes and student activities.
