The idea of literary sociology, which is predicated on the idea that writers of literary works are human beings who encounter experiences in the real world, serves as the driving force behind this study. A method that deviates from both direction to the cosmos and orientation to writers and readers is literary sociology. The method of data analysis that is employed is qualitative descriptive. Poetry is a kind of literature that captures many facets of life, especially social facets. Social reality is powerfully shown in Sapardi Djoko Damono's literary masterpiece "Hujan Bulan Juni." The goal of this essay is to do a sociological analysis of the poem, concentrating on the ways in which Sapardi Djoko Damono uses language and creative imagination to depict and communicate social reality. The poem utilizes a sociological perspective to contemplate and offer insights on several facets of social existence. As a stoic, knowledgeable, and human character or human being, rain is characterized in the analysis of the poem Hujan Bulan Juni. Therefore, it might be stated that literature is a reflection of society or that it is a copy of life; nevertheless, literature can only explain a subset of societal issues as they are observed from a certain, constrained perspective. A greater comprehension of the link between literature and social reality as well as the ideals suggested in the literary work may be gained from this examination.
