Inner conflict is a conflict within a character that is closely related to personal emotions. Sigmund Freud's psychoanalysis theory is one of the psychological theories that examines conflicts that occur in a person, in line with the anxiety, fear, doubt experienced by the character Aura in the Novel Melangkah. The inner conflict that occurs in the novel Melangkah by Jombang Santani Khairen uses Sigmund Freud's Psychoanalysis Theory, namely Id Ego and Superego. This study aims to describe the inner conflict experienced by the character Aura in the novel Melangkah by J.S Khairen. The approach used in this study uses a literary psychology approach. The data in this study is data in the form of words, phrases, expressions, and sentences contained in the novel Melangkah. The source of the data used is a written source, namely a literary work novel Melangkah, publisher of PT Grasindo Member Ikapi, Jakarta, published in May 2022, author J.S Khairen. In this study, the data collection technique used was using documentation techniques. Data analysis in this study used qualitative descriptive methods. The validity of the data used in this study is triangulation. The results of the research on the inner conflicts experienced by the main character Aura in J.S Khairen's Novel Melangkah, namely anxiety, fear, emotion, anger, guilt, disappointment, and the word regret. It is caused by the Id, ego and superego. Id is seen from the emergence of guilt, anxiety and fear experienced by the main character. Ego is seen from emotions, disappointment and anger. The superego is seen from the word regret conveyed by the main character.
