SURVEI TINGKAT KEBUGARAN JASMANI SISWA EKSTRAKURIKULER PENCAK SILAT PSHT DI SMP NEGERI 2 TUREN

This study has purpose to collect data on the physical fitness of students who take get involved in extracurricular pencak silat PSHT at SMP Negeri 2 Turen. The population used in this research was 30 students, with details of 7 male students and 23 female students. Researchers used quantitative descriptive methods with direct observation. The participants were PSHT pencak silat students within the range of 13 to 15 years who were assessed with the Indonesian Physical Fitness Test (TKJI). The result shows that the majority (56.7%) were categorized as moderate physical fitness. In addition, 23.3% were classified as “less”, 16.7% as “good”, and 3.3% as “very less”. No one of the students categorized as “very good” (0%). Based of the results from analysis and discussions, the researcher concluded most PSHT martial arts extracurricular students at SMP Negeri 2 Turen have moderate physical fitness with a percentage of 56.7%.
