SURVEI KONDISI FISIK ATLET HOCKEY INDOOR PUTRA KOTA MALANG

The purpose of this study was to determine the physical condition of male indoor hockey athletes in Malang City. Indoor hockey is a sport that is very complex, requires technical skills and requires good physical condition. This study used a quantitative descriptive method with 15 male subjects as subjects. The components of the physical condition studied were arm muscle strength using the Push Up test which was included in the less category with a percentage of 73.33%, abdominal muscle strength using the sit up test which was included in the poor category with a percentage of 53.33%, back muscle strength using the Back dynamometer test which is in the good category with a percentage of 46.66%, leg muscle strength using the leg dynamometer test which is included in the very good category with a percentage of 100%, flexibility using the sit and reach test which is included in the in the moderate category with a percentage of 100%, agility with the shuttle run test which is in the very good category with a percentage of 80%, and endurance with the multiple fitness test which is included in the superior category with a percentage of 33.33%. Based on the results and discussion above, it can be concluded that the physical condition test results for the men's indoor hockey athletes in Malang City are in the moderate category
