Sanan Village stands as the largest hub for tempe production and its derivatives in Malang City. The thriving industry, however, generates a significant amount of waste. Despite this, soybean skin waste management remains suboptimal among the community. This community service project aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of tempe artisans in Sanan Village in handling soybean skin waste. The project entails identifying issues, conducting literature reviews and trials, providing socialization and training, and collecting post-training data through questionnaires. The project has yielded positive outcomes, evidenced by a notable increase in community knowledge from 57.14% to 98.70%. Additionally, soybean skin waste management skills among tempe artisans have improved from 67% to 88%. Through this socialization and training, we hope to optimize the utilization of production waste, particularly soybean skin, into marketable products. Moreover, this initiative aligns with the zero waste program, transforming Sanan Village into an environmentally friendly industry
